Richard Lonetto, BSc, PhD


Richard has over 18 years of manufacturing industry experience. In 2005 he oversaw the sale of a family business, All-Metal Machine Specialties Company, an auto parts manufacturer. Since then he has been engaged in the development of the Blue Planet. Richard received a doctorate degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from New York University.

Jason Yeo, BSc

Application Engineer, Fluid Systems

Jason has over 15 years of experience with pump and process equipment. Prior to joining Blue Planet, he was the lead Project Engineer responsible for process equipment and maintenance for Biovectra Inc., a pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturer located in the Province of Prince Edward Island. Prior to Biovectra, he was an Application Engineer with Goulds Pumps Canada, Inc. Jason holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from University of New Brunswick.

David Burns, CET

Application Engineer, Fluid Systems

David joined the Blue Planet team in 2006. Prior to that David spent a total of 12 years employed as a Manufacturing Engineer at The Faurecia Group in Bradford, Ontario, and as a Process Engineer at Fountain Pump Services in Scarborough, Ontario. David received an undergraduate degree from Georgian College in 2005, and his Certified Engineering Technologist designation in 2007.

Mark Korol BA, BC, CFA, CPA

CFO and Director

Mark Korol has over 11 years experience in the Chief Financial Officer position, including 6 years of public company experience with Zenon Environmental and CDI Education Corp. He has spent the last 6 years with Xela Enterprises Ltd. a multinational private food company with 5000 employees. Its focus is on the agricultural and hospitality business segments. Mr. Korol has held various financial positions over his career including Research Analyst with National Bank Financial in Toronto. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor and a BA in Economics and Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Public Accountant. Mark has held Board of Director positions in both private and public companies.

Rudy Pacitto, BA

Water Restoration Operations Manager

Over the past 18 years Rudy was also able to develop and manage a separate water gardening and pond restoration division at Beaver Valley Stone.

Justin Picard, OIT

Water and wastewater Technician

Justin Picard has a Diploma in Water Quality Technology from Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario. Justin is provincially certified in Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment, Distribution and Supply Subsystems. Justin has been working with Blue Planet designing, testing and installing gas infusion systems for the last 2 years.


Jeffrey Tucker, BSc, JD


Mr. Tucker, along with Richard Zietz, formed BPE Marketing Services LLC in 2011 to invest in Blue Planet Environmental. Contemporaneous with the investment BPE Marketing entered into a marketing services agreement to advance the sales and marketing efforts of Blue Planet. From 1987 through the present Mr. Tucker was a shareholder of Fairfield Greenwich Limited, a provider of various hedge fund services. From 1977-1987 he practiced law in private practice and for a federal agency. Mr. Tucker holds a BSc Degree from Syracuse University (1966) and a JD Degree from Brooklyn Law School (1969).

Richard Zietz, BSc


Mr. Zietz obtained his Industrial Engineering degree from Columbia University in 1964, and has held a number of positions in Engineering, Sales Engineering, and Sales and Marketing Management, during his career.Also, Mr. Zietz has been responsible for recommending and facilitating the implementation of traffic safety initiatives that have resulted in fatality and accident reductions on our nation's roads, highways, and neighborhood streets. His lifelong desire for "thinking of ways to make things happen, rather than reasons why they won't or can't" has led Mr. Zietz to Blue Planet and to focus on water conservation and related safety measures throughout the world.

Jody Fitzpatrick, BA

VP, Business Development

Prior to joining Blue Planet, Jody has been responsible for introducing new software and hardware technologies in IT, taking products from relative obscurity and building global acceptance and multi million dollar revenues. Companies she has worked for include Reader's Digest, SecureAgent Software and Delta Computer Group. Over the last 20 years the majority of her client list has been comprised of Fortune 100 companies. Her passion for Blue Planet's green, sustainable solutions for our world, and her desire to build this business from the ground floor to one of great product recognition and success, is her motivating force for joining the Blue Planet team.

Henry Gordon-Smith, BA, MSc

Director of Global Strategy

Henry is a sustainability strategist focused on urban agriculture, water issues, and emerging technologies. Henry was born in Hong Kong and has lived in Japan, Germany, the Czech Republic, Russia, Canada, Spain, Austria, and the United States; he speaks several languages. Henry's international upbringing contributes to a global perspective and a unique ability to adapt to change. Henry earned his BA in Political Science from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver and an MSc in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.

Ron Mattia, BA

Facilities Manager

Ron Mattia has been with Stone Bridge Farm since 2003. He maintains the facilities, land, and equipment for the 3 parcels comprising Stone Bridge Farm. Ron, a State University of New York at Cortland graduate, has a BA degree in Sculpture and Design. His sculptures have been exhibited up and down the East Coast. Prior to his tenure at Stone Bridge, he spent 8 years as a project manager for a successful landscape and horticulture business. Ron has been an integral part of the design, build, and maintenance of the Farm. He is a heavy equipment operator and has expertise in excavating, drainage and erosion control. Ron's greenhouse experience includes; layout, construction, hydroponic plumbing and irrigation.
